Once again, BIC Euronova, the European Business and Innovation Centre of Málaga, together with BIC Euronova China, had a prominent presence at a new edition of Greencities, the leading forum on sustainability, environmental intelligence and urban management. The event was held at the Málaga Trade Fair and Congress Centre (FYCMA) on 15 and 16 September.
On this occasion, BIC Euronova shared space and synergies with its partners from China at the stand of the Next Sustainable Generation Committee (NSGC), an organisation committed to accelerating the green transition and technological transition on a global scale.
Three key pillars for urban transformation
During the forum, BIC Euronova’s activity focused on three core areas:
Green innovation: Promoting the transfer of clean technological solutions and the development of business models aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
International bridge: Strengthening business and institutional cooperation between Spain and China to scale high-impact technology projects with global reach.
Strategic alliances: Creating networking opportunities, attracting investment and accelerating bilateral synergies.
Institutional visit to the Next Sustainable Generation Committee stand
The exhibition space of the Next Sustainable Generation Committee became a meeting point for numerous professionals, institutions and companies interested in sustainable development.
One of the institutional visits was made by Antonio García Acedo, Regional Delegate for Economy, Finance and European Funds, and for University, Industry, Energy and Innovation of the Regional Government of Andalusia in Málaga, and President of BIC Euronova. He was welcomed by Álvaro Simón de Blas, General Manager of BIC Euronova Málaga, and Ms Lucy Gang, Director of BIC Euronova China. The visit highlighted the firm commitment of public administration and innovation centres to international cooperation initiatives.
Round table: artificial intelligence and the green transition in cities
One of the central moments of the programme was the round table jointly organised by BIC Euronova Málaga and the NSGC Association to discuss the real impact of artificial intelligence on urban sustainability.
The panel was moderated by Laura Calderón Relinque, Communications Manager at BIC Euronova, and featured contributions from leading multidisciplinary experts:
-
