Málaga Startup Network recognises the Malaga startups with the most significant innovation potential

Málaga Startup Network, the network of organisations that promote entrepreneurship and the creation of innovative companies in Malaga, has recognised 27 Malaga startups that are helping to position the city as an international innovation hub.

Málaga Startup Network is an initiative launched in 2024 and coordinated by BIC Euronova, the European Business and Innovation Centre of Malaga, based in Malaga TechPark.

The Málaga Startup Network, promoted by BIC Euronova and composed of various entities, has recognised 27 startups as outstanding within Malaga's business innovation ecosystem. This recognition aims to highlight the city's entrepreneurial capacity, with a special mention for these startups, created less than five years ago, that are standing out for their innovation potential.

The event was held this morning at the Rector's Office of the University of Malaga, with a welcome address from the Vice-Rector for Transfer, Entrepreneurship and Enterprise, Juan Carlos Rubio Romero, and the participation of Antonio García Acedo, Territorial Delegate for Economy, Finance, European Funds and Industry, Energy and Mines of the Regional Government of Andalusia in Malaga, who is also President of BIC Euronova. They were accompanied by Álvaro Simón de Blas, Managing Director of BIC Euronova.

Málaga Startup Network recognises the most outstanding Malaga startups every year. This recognition, which began last year, is now celebrating its second edition in 2025 and serves as a key milestone, showcasing the innovative potential of the Malaga startup ecosystem and positioning the city as an international benchmark in entrepreneurship and business innovation.

Málaga Startup Network, promoted by BIC Euronova, the European Business and Innovation Centre of Malaga, is composed of various public and private entities, including incubators, accelerators, institutions, and government bodies, all committed to the growth and success of Malaga startups. Its members include BIC Euronova, the Regional Government of Andalusia (Junta de Andalucía), Andalucía Emprende, Malaga City Council, Promálaga, the Technology Park of Andalusia, Málaga TechPark, the University of Malaga, Fundación Corporación Tecnológica de Andalucía (CTA), Innova IRV (Instituto Ricardo Valle de Innovación), Polo Nacional de Contenidos Digitales, Fundalogy, Impact Hub, Málaga Tech, Santander Startups, Banco Sabadell, and La Farola Andalucía Open Future.

Each member of the network has selected up to 2 startups they consider outstanding in their ecosystem and have promoted. The recognised startups were: OKT Global, Cloud y Olé (BIC Euronova); S.Lab, SoyGuiri (Andalucía Emprende – Junta de Andalucía); Plannet App, vanguardIAn (Promálaga – Malaga City Council); ZEXEL Software, Pinep Experience (University of Malaga); More Than Verso, Novelingo (Málaga TechPark); 64Train, Bebyte (Polo Nacional de Contenidos Digitales); AGForest, Made in Verse (IAT); Push the Button, Teco Mobility (Santander Startups); Hagamos Hogar (Fundalogy – Unicaja); SkyWash360, Zerolabs (Impact Hub); XRC Experiencias Inmersivas, Rock&Change (Andalucía Open Future); DASTX, PROMOTTY (Málaga Tech); Laboratorios Pharmavic, Biosensor Suite Group-Wiemspro (CTA – Corporación Tecnológica de Andalucía); AMALia, Superpopi (Banco Sabadell).

All these startups are contributing to the region's transformation and sustainable development, positioning Malaga as an international innovation hub.

Málaga Startup Network, promoted and coordinated by BIC Euronova, arose in response to the growing demand for support for entrepreneurs and startups, offering a robust ecosystem designed to facilitate access to resources, mentoring, collaboration, funding support, networking, and internationalisation opportunities.

Málaga Startup Network was founded in 2024 to foster an entrepreneurial culture in the province of Malaga, providing entrepreneurs with the tools and resources they need to develop and scale their businesses. These include coworking spaces, specialised training, and access to advanced technology. In addition, Málaga Startup Network supports startups in their search for funding by connecting them with investors, venture capital funds, and other sources of finance.

Málaga Startup Network also promotes internationalisation, helping startups to expand into international markets by providing guidance and contacts to take their products and services beyond local borders. Furthermore, Málaga Startup Network fosters collaboration by creating an environment for exchange among the entities that make up the network, facilitating synergies and knowledge transfer.
