Our colleague Sandra García Torres took part in the partners’ meeting held in Treviso, Italy, hosted by the lead partner t2i – Technology Transfer and Innovation, together with all project partners.

Partners shared significant progress in developing the RECONNECT Toolkit and its AI-based tool, designed to help SMEs identify industrial symbiosis opportunities and adopt sustainable business models. Regional mappings across participating countries have already been completed, setting a strong foundation for the project’s pilot phase.

This next phase will involve over 130 Mediterranean SMEs testing innovative solutions for waste reuse, resource efficiency, and the creation of high-value bio-based products.

These advancements mark a key step toward a more circular, digital, and resilient blue economy, where SMEs can enhance their competitiveness while contributing to environmental sustainability.

As Communication Leader, BIC Euronova continues to bridge innovation, sustainability, and tradition across the Mediterranean.
